Certification Services
We certify your employees' Short-term Disability leaves based on analysis of medical documentation that supports the amount of time off needed from their normal jobs. And, if light duty or reduced work hours are available, our Care Managers will help facilitate your employee's return-to-work with his/her physician.
Advice-to-Pay
Services include the adjudication of your Short-term Disability benefit and a weekly report sent electronically to you or your third-party administrator, detailing all benefit eligible disabled employees. The report includes employees' demographics, gross weekly benefits, withholdings, and net benefits to be paid.
Assessment, Treatment Planning and Care Management
Comprehensive Healthcare Assessments "CHA" (medical, behavioral and/or complementary evaluation) are recommended when employees are on disability and considered at high risk for:
